How to cancel Book of the Month
You can cancel online, but it is buried behind a multi-screen retention flow.
Steps to cancel Book of the Month
- 1Log in at bookofthemonth.com and click your initials or profile icon in the top right to open the menu.
- 2Scroll to the Membership section and select Cancel Membership.
- 3The site offers a Pause option first; decline it and follow the prompts to finish cancelling.
- 4Use any credits before you cancel, since credits do not carry over. Cancel before your monthly renewal (billed early in the month) to avoid the next credit charge, and confirm you receive a cancellation email.
- 5If the online steps do not work, email member.services@bookofthemonth.com or call 1-888-784-2670.
