How to View and Cancel Your Amazon Subscriptions (Prime, Video Channels, Subscribe & Save)

Amazon is not one subscription, it is several living under one account, and they are managed in different spots. That is why people cancel Prime and still see charges: the thing billing them was never Prime. Here is where each one hides and how to end it.

The fast answer

As of mid-2026, start in one central place:

1. Sign in at amazon.com and open Your Account.
2. Choose Memberships & Subscriptions (this is the master list).
3. Pick the item you want to manage from the list.
4. Follow the cancel or manage link shown for that specific subscription.

That page shows renewal dates and prices for your active, canceled, and expired subscriptions, so it is the best first stop for any Amazon charge you cannot place.

The three places people miss

1. Prime itself. To end your core membership, go to Manage Prime Membership (also reachable from Your Account) and follow the prompts to end it. Canceling Prime does not touch any add-on you subscribed to through Prime Video, which surprises a lot of people.

2. Prime Video Channels. Channels like a premium movie service or a sports package are optional add-ons billed separately from Prime. Canceling one has no effect on your Prime or Prime Video membership. As of mid-2026, go to Memberships & Subscriptions, select Prime Video Channels, find the channel, and choose Cancel Channel. If you cancel Prime but forget the channels, the channel charges roll right along.

3. Subscribe & Save. These are recurring deliveries of everyday items, usually at a small discount, on a schedule you set. They are not in the same spot as your streaming subscriptions; look under Subscribe & Save in Your Account (sometimes shown as "Your Subscribe & Save Items"), where you can skip a delivery, change the frequency, or cancel the recurring order entirely.

Amazon Music and Amazon Kids+. Two more that live under the same Memberships & Subscriptions master list. Amazon Music Unlimited and Amazon Kids+ each renew on their own cycle. If a monthly Amazon charge does not match Prime, your Video Channels, or a Subscribe & Save delivery, one of these is a likely culprit, and both are canceled from that same central list as of mid-2026.

What happens to your access

For most of these, canceling stops the next renewal while letting you keep the benefit until the paid period ends. Subscribe & Save is a little different: because it is tied to shipments rather than a viewing period, cancel before the next order is prepared to avoid one more box on the way.

Refunds

Amazon's most generous refund case is Prime itself.
