The part worth understanding before you sign up is how the credits behave. While your plan is active, unused credits roll over month to month, so a light month is not wasted. Anything you actually download is yours to keep forever, royalty-free, even after you cancel, which is the genuinely producer-friendly part of the model. The catch sits on the other side: if you cancel or pause, your unused credit balance is not permanent. Cancel and the remaining credits expire 28 days after your final billing period ends, and long-time users have been caught out losing large saved balances.
