How to cancel HBO Max

Hulu

“Here's the honest answer: Hulu ended its free trial on June 15, 2026, after sixteen years, so new sign-ups are billed on day one. If price is the concern, the $1.99/mo student plan and Hulu's Black Friday annual deal (often under $2/mo) are the real bargains. And if you specifically wanted a trial run, plenty of streamers in our catalog still offer one.”

CuriosityStream

“CuriosityStream is the documentary lover's streaming deal: an all-factual catalog with David Attenborough titles, space, history, and science series in 4K, at a price that undercuts nearly every mainstream service. Reviewers consistently call the annual plan one of streaming's best values, and its Trustpilot rating sits at excellent with praise for content and responsive support. Know two things going in. First, this is a focused documentary library measured in the low thousands of titles, not a Netflix-scale catalog, so it works best as an add-on rather than your only service. Second, the plan most people pick is annual, and the renewal lands a year later at full list price with a no-refunds policy for unused time. That forgotten renewal is the single most common complaint about an otherwise well-liked service, and it is exactly what a reminder fixes. Track it here and we send a heads-up before the renewal, so nothing surprises you.”
